The Farmers is a unique, modern country pub, bar and restaurant located on the outskirts of the bustling market and festival town of Ulverston, situated in the heart of a small coastal village with views of rolling fells. The perfect place to watch the world go by.
Historically our lovely little pub dates back to 1849 when the local area was known as The Manor of Muchland, seat of the Lords of Aldingham. What a great title!
It originally changed hands back then for the princely sum of £237 – not quite what it was purchased for in 2006 when we bought it.
A great little historical country Inn in a lovely village next to the coast, overlooking Morecambe Bay. We are part of 4 generations of Innkeepers and totally independent, providing great food and the best real ales- all locally produced – Cumbria’s Finest!
The pub itself offers a roaring fire all winter, cosy atmosphere and friendly welcoming staff, as well as a spacious beer garden overlooking the countryside.
